Dusselier and Marks Homes, Inc.
Don Dusselier and Leonard Marks grew up on neighboring farms, were fraternity brothers at the same university, and in 1989 formed Dusselier and Marks Homes, which has become one of the most successful home building companies in Kansas.

Leonard grew up in the home building business. His father was a builder in the Kansas City area for over thirty years. Leonard says, “I actually had a behind-the-desk job as an industrial engineer in Kentucky.
Don also came to the industry through a family business. “My father had concrete construction companies. I started out working for him each summer from the time I was 14, and then later, full time. Leonard was building with his dad and when his dad retired, Leonard and I became partners.

Fred is a member of the Greater Kansas City Home Builders Association and holds the NAHB "Certified Green Professional" designation. He is also a member of the Lee's Summit Planning Commission.
